Mariah Carey wrote All I Want for Christmas Is You with Walter Afanasieff for Merry Christmas, her 1994 holiday album. The song leans on the wall of sound of 1960s Christmas records, with bells, a backing choir and a rousing piano intro. Only years later did the single become a holiday fixture: in December 2019, 25 years after its original release, it reached number 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 for the first time.

This edition is a vinyl single.
