This EP captures the MTV Unplugged performance Mariah Carey gave in New York in March 1992, shortly after the album Emotions. She sang seven songs with a small band, among them Emotions, Vision of Love, and Make It Happen. Her reading of The Jackson 5's I'll Be There, with Trey Lorenz as second voice, went to number one in the United States as a single. The recording originally appeared in 1992.
