Xscape came out in 2014, five years after Jackson's death, and gathers eight recordings he made between 1983 and 1999 but never released. Timbaland handled the reworking as executive producer: the original vocal takes stayed in place while the music around them was rebuilt, with contributions from Rodney Jerkins and Stargate. "Love Never Felt So Good", written with Paul Anka in 1983, became the best-known single and also appears as a duet with Justin Timberlake. "A Place with No Name" stands out for the way it reaches back to "A Horse with No Name" by America.
