Low in High School arrived in November 2017 as Morrissey's first album in three years and his first for BMG, issued through the Étienne label. Joe Chiccarelli produced the sessions, recorded at La Fabrique in Saint-Rémy in southern France and at Forum Studios in Rome. His eleventh solo album turns on politics and power, with lyrics about police, war, and media in songs such as Who Will Protect Us from the Police?, I Bury the Living, and Israel. Against that sits the first single Spent the Day in Bed, with organ and a chorus about ignoring the news. This edition is a gatefold LP on clear vinyl.
