'Interlude' is a duet by Morrissey and Siouxsie Sioux, originally released as a single in 1994. It is a rendition of the song Timi Yuro sang in 1968 for the British film of the same name, written by composer Georges Delerue and lyricist Hal Shaper. The collaboration brought together two icons of British alternative music: the former frontman of The Smiths and the singer of Siouxsie And The Banshees. The orchestral, melancholic song reached number 25 on the UK chart. It remained the only official collaboration between the two artists. Besides the regular version, an extended and an instrumental rendition of the song exist.
