On Parole is the first album the British band Motörhead recorded, with sessions from 1975 and 1976. At the time it was shelved by the record company and only released in 1979, once the band had already become well known. The music shows the early form of Motörhead's raw mix of hard rock and punk, led by bassist and singer Lemmy Kilmister. Songs such as "Motörhead" and "City Kids" appeared here in their original recordings. The album offers a picture of the band in its earliest days.
