Isn't Anything is the debut album by My Bloody Valentine, released in 1988 on Creation Records. The record was produced by the band themselves, with Kevin Shields and Bilinda Butcher on guitars and vocals, Colm O Ciosoig on drums and Debbie Googe on bass. A defining feature of the sound is the so-called "glide guitar" technique, in which Shields used his guitar's tremolo system to bend pitch while playing. The album contains twelve tracks, including "Soft as Snow (But Warm Inside)", "Feed Me with Your Kiss" and "You Never Should". Isn't Anything is regarded as one of the early examples of the shoegaze style and preceded its follow-up, Loveless, in 1991.
