My Chemical Romance's debut album originally appeared in July 2002 on the small label Eyeball Records, recorded that May at Nada Recording Studio in New Windsor, New York. It was produced by Thursday singer Geoff Rickly, who only agreed after hearing a demo of Vampires Will Never Hurt You. The songs are rawer and harder than the band's later work, with screamed vocals and hardcore influences alongside the melodies of Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough For The Two Of Us and Headfirst For Halos. The album earned the band an underground following; the breakthrough came two years later with Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. This edition is an LP pressed as a picture disc, in a limited run.
