Chrome Dreams was an album Neil Young assembled in 1977 but did not release at the time; it circulated for years as a bootleg before appearing officially in 2023. The collection held early versions of songs that later surfaced on other albums, including 'Pocahontas', 'Powderfinger' and 'Like a Hurricane'.
