Low-Life is New Order's third studio album and the first to put the four band members themselves on the sleeve — a break with the anonymous designs Factory Records was known for. It first appeared in 1985 and places guitars and electronics side by side rather than in opposition: 'The Perfect Kiss' builds over more than eight minutes on sequencers and samples, 'Love Vigilantes' tells an almost country-like story of a soldier coming home, and the instrumental 'Elegia' was written in memory of Ian Curtis. 'Sub-Culture' and 'Face Up' also come from this album. Peter Saville wrapped the sleeve in translucent tracing paper. This edition is an LP.
