Standing on the Shoulder of Giants was the fourth studio album by Oasis and originally appeared in 2000. It was the first album after the departure of guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs and bassist Paul 'Guigsy' McGuigan, who left the band during the recording sessions, and the first on the band's own label Big Brother Recordings. Noel Gallagher produced it together with Mark 'Spike' Stent and reached for a more psychedelic, more electronic sound than on its predecessors, audible in the instrumental opener Fuckin' In The Bushes and in Gas Panic!. Singles were Go Let It Out, Who Feels Love? and Sunday Morning Call. The title is taken from a quote by Isaac Newton inscribed on the edge of the British two pound coin. The album entered the British album chart at number 1. This edition is an LP.
