Ordinary Man originally appeared in 2020 as Ozzy Osbourne's twelfth solo album and his first in ten years. Producer Andrew Watt built a band around him with Duff McKagan on bass and Chad Smith on drums, and brought in guests: Elton John sings on the title track, Slash plays on Straight to Hell, Tom Morello on Scary Little Green Men and Post Malone features on It's a Raid. Osbourne recorded it shortly after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and the lyrics deal openly with mortality and looking back. The album reached number 3 on both the UK and the US album charts.
