No Jacket Required was the third solo album by the British singer and drummer Phil Collins, released in 1985. The record contained the hits 'Sussudio', 'One More Night' and 'Take Me Home', combining pop, soul and the emphatic drum sound for which Collins was known. The album leaned heavily on synthesizers and a smooth, radio-friendly production. It became a major worldwide success and earned Collins several Grammys, including album of the year. Alongside his work with Genesis, the record confirmed his standing as a solo artist in the 1980s.
