Return in Bloodred already had most of the Powerwolf blueprint in place: fast power metal with church organ, choir parts, and lyrics drawn from Romanian werewolf and vampire lore. Attila Dorn, trained as an opera singer, gave songs such as 'Mr. Sinister', 'Kiss of the Cobra King', and 'Son of the Morning Star' the theatrical weight the band would later push much further. The debut by the Saarbrücken group first appeared in 2005 and brought them a headline run of their own, the Europe in Bloodred tour. The production is rawer than on the later records, which puts the guitars of Matthew and Charles Greywolf in sharper focus. This edition is an LP.
