The Sacrament of Sin was the first Powerwolf album produced by Jens Bogren, and it shows in the mix: organ and choir sit tighter in the balance and there is more room for melody. 'Demons Are a Girl's Best Friend' became the best known song, with 'Fire & Forgive' and 'Incense & Iron' as the other anchors and the restrained 'Where the Wild Wolves Have Gone' as the outlier. The album was originally released in 2018, entered the German charts at number 1, and won that year's Metal Hammer award for best album. This edition is an LP.
