For Villains, Queens of the Stone Age brought in producer Mark Ronson, known for pop and soul productions, and you hear it in the tight, danceable rhythm the album keeps up from start to finish. The seventh studio album appeared on 25 August 2017 through Matador Records, with 'The Way You Used to Do' and 'The Evil Has Landed' as singles. The regular line-up around singer and guitarist Josh Homme played it, with Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita and drummer Jon Theodore. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number 3.
