Fourteen songs in under thirty minutes. The Ramones' untitled debut originally appeared in 1976 and was recorded in a single week at Plaza Sound Studios above Radio City Music Hall, with Craig Leon and Tommy Ramone at the desk. Johnny's guitar sits almost entirely in the left channel and Dee Dee's bass in the right; there are no solos, and the songs rarely run past two minutes. "Blitzkrieg Bop", "Beat on the Brat", "Judy Is a Punk", and "53rd & 3rd" stayed in the set from then on. It sold modestly on release, but became the starting point for the punk wave that took hold in New York and London across 1976 and 1977. This edition is an LP.
