In June 1979 the Ramones played the Summer in the City festival in San Francisco, not long after the film Rock 'n' Roll High School in which the band appeared as themselves. This recording of that show got its first official release in April 2026 on Rhino. The set runs from "Rockaway Beach" and "Blitzkrieg Bop" to "I Wanna Be Sedated", "Sheena Is a Punk Rocker", and the covers "Surfin' Bird" and "California Sun", with Marky Ramone on drums and Dee Dee on bass. Twenty-seven songs, at the pace the band played back then. This edition is a 2-LP on neon pink vinyl.
