The Best of Me was a compilation album by Rick Astley, originally released in 2019 and an overview of more than thirty years of career. The album featured the Stock Aitken Waterman hits Never Gonna Give You Up, which reached number one in dozens of countries in 1987, along with Together Forever and Whenever You Need Somebody. Later work also had a place, such as Cry for Help from 1991, as well as material from the comeback period Astley entered after turning fifty in 2016. Part of the album consisted of newly recorded, "reimagined" versions of earlier work. The Best of Me reached the top 10 of the UK Albums Chart.
