Outsider is a solo studio album by Roger Taylor, the drummer and co-founder of Queen, released in 2021. Taylor wrote and performed much of the album himself during a period of enforced isolation, handling several instruments. The record combines melodic rock and pop with personal, reflective lyrics about loneliness, ageing and the world around him. Well-known tracks include Gangsters Are Running This World, Isolation and We're All Just Trying To Get By, featuring a guest contribution from KT Tunstall. With Outsider, Taylor showcased his own singer-songwriter side away from Queen.
