Port Royal originally came out on Noise Records in 1988, a year after Under Jolly Roger, the album on which Running Wild picked up its pirate themes. The title refers to the Jamaican port that served as a base for privateers in the seventeenth century. Alongside the sea stories there are other historical subjects: "Uaschitschun" deals with the native peoples of North America and "Conquistadores" with the Spanish conquerors. "Port Royal", "Raging Fire", and "Calico Jack" are among the band's best known songs. This edition is an LP.
