Borboletta, originally released in 1974, follows the jazz and Brazilian direction Santana was working towards in those years. Singer Flora Purim and percussionist Airto Moreira take part, as does Stanley Clarke on bass. The album opens with recorded nature sounds before Canto de los Flores begins and closes with the title track. Promise of a Fisherman comes from the Brazilian composer Dorival Caymmi. This edition is an LP.
