On Love and the Russian Winter, Simply Red moved towards a tighter, more programmed production. The seventh studio album first appeared in November 1999, closing out the band's nineties. Ain't That a Lot of Love, a soul cover from the sixties, went ahead as the first single, and Your Eyes followed in early 2000. Mick Hucknall alternated his ballads with more danceable material. This edition is an LP.
