"A Celebration" was originally released in 1982 as a non-album single, falling between the albums October and War. The song never appeared on a studio album and reached number 47 on the UK singles chart. Its B-side, "Trash, Trampoline and the Party Girl", later became a regular part of the band's live sets.

This release is a 12-inch single on black vinyl (Record Store Day edition).
