For Roll With the Punches, Van Morrison went back in 2017 to the rhythm and blues he started out with in Belfast: ten covers of Bo Diddley, Mose Allison, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, and Lightnin' Hopkins among others, plus five songs of his own. Jeff Beck plays guitar on part of the record, and Georgie Fame, Chris Farlowe, and Paul Jones each take a turn on a duet. Morrison said of the album: "From a very early age, I connected with the blues." It entered the UK albums chart at number 4. This edition is a 2-LP.
