Scandinavian Assault is one of the six Assault EPs Venom released country by country in the eighties, each a selection of singles, B-sides and album tracks. This one puts Nightmare, Too Loud and Die Hard beside Bloodlust, Powerdrive and Warhead, drawing on the whole classic Neat period. The EP appeared under licence from Neat Records and plays at 45 rpm, which gives the sound a little more room than a standard 33 rpm pressing. This edition is a 12-inch on white vinyl with pink splatter.
