The Black Album was a studio album by the American rock band Weezer, released in 2019. The record, officially titled Weezer but known as the "black album", continued the band's tradition of colour-coded self-titled albums. Frontman Rivers Cuomo opted for a darker approach leaning more towards pop and electronics than on earlier records. The album featured tracks such as "Can't Knock the Hustle" and "High as a Kite". Weezer, which broke through in the 1990s with power-pop and alternative rock, experimented further with its sound here.
