Aerosmith

Aerosmith came together in Boston in 1970 around a blues-rock core, with Joe Perry's riffs and Steven Tyler's voice as the constant. Toys in the Attic and Rocks made the band's name in the seventies, before drugs and infighting pulled the line-up apart. The 1986 rap-rock rework of Walk This Way with Run-D.M.C. set the comeback in motion, and Permanent Vacation, Pump, and Get a Grip turned Aerosmith into a stadium act after all. The group retired from touring in 2024 after Tyler fractured his larynx; in 2025 the One More Time EP with Yungblud brought their first new material in more than twelve years.
