Hai Hai is Roger Hodgson's second solo album and followed three years after In the Eye of the Storm. He produced it with Jack Joseph Puig, and the sound is fuller and more emphatically rooted in the eighties than on his debut, with heavier drums and more keyboards. The ten songs, among them Right Place, London and the title track, still revolve around his voice and his way of writing melodies. The album was originally released in October 1987 via A&M Records.
