Apart from John Lennon's Jealous Guy, Queen drummer Roger Taylor wrote every song on Violence Insane in a Beautiful World himself, and he produced the album together with Joshua J. Macrae. It is his seventh solo album, released on September 18, 2026, on his own Nightjar Productions and Columbia Records, and the follow-up to 2021's Outsider. A notable guest is South Africa's Ndlovu Youth Choir, who caught Taylor's attention with their Zulu-language version of Bohemian Rhapsody. The choir sings on three tracks: opener A Beautiful World, first single Come On Summer (It's Party Time), and closer A Great Big Beautiful World. In between are songs such as Chump, Spit in His Eye, and Don't Photograph Food.
