On her fourth studio album beabadoobee turns the guitars up: Pylon leans on classic grunge, midwest emo and the nineties rock radio she grew up with. She wrote the fourteen songs on the road while touring This Is How Tomorrow Moves, bringing in collaborators who know that register: Hayley Williams, Turnstile's Brendan Yates, Chino Moreno of Deftones and Pinegrove's Evan Stephens Hall. Alongside the title track it holds songs such as 'Switchblade', 'Powerlines' and 'Satellite'. Pylon is released by Dirty Hit, the label she has been on since her first EP.
