Yuletide Throwdown dates from 1981, when Blondie and Fab 5 Freddy recorded a Christmas song in the slipstream of Rapture, the single in which Debbie Harry name-checks him. At the time it appeared only as a flexi disc given away with the British magazine Flexipop, and it stayed hard to find for decades afterwards. In 2021 it came out as a 12-inch, pairing the original 1981 recording with a remix and a radio edit by Cut Chemist.
