Live! captured what the Wailers were on stage in the summer of 1975: two nights at the Lyceum Theatre in London, 17 and 18 July, recorded with the Island mobile studio. It was the first tour without Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer; the band now revolved around the rhythm section of Aston and Carlton Barrett, with Al Anderson on guitar and the I-Threes on backing vocals. The live version of No Woman, No Cry from these nights became the single that broke Marley in Britain, and has been the version almost everyone knows ever since. The album, originally released in December 1975, also holds Trenchtown Rock, Burnin' and Lootin', Lively Up Yourself, I Shot the Sheriff, and a long Get Up, Stand Up.
