Memento Mori is Depeche Mode's fifteenth studio album, released on 24 March 2023 on Columbia. It is the first record Dave Gahan and Martin Gore made as a duo, following the death of co-founder Andy Fletcher in May 2022. James Ford produced, with additional work by Marta Salogni; the writing began in the first months of the coronavirus pandemic and the lyrics circle around mortality and loss. Opening track My Cosmos Is Mine sets the tone with distorted synths and a slow beat, while lead single Ghosts Again rides a simple chord change and plenty of space. The album entered the UK chart at number 2 and topped the chart in France. This edition is a 2LP on red vinyl.
