For Indestructible, Disturbed took full control of production for the first time: guitarist Dan Donegan handled it himself, without Johnny K, at Groovemaster Studios in Chicago. The result is a heavier, drier sounding fourth studio album whose best known tracks are Inside The Fire, Perfect Insanity, and the title song. The lyrics deal in part with war and with soldiers coming home, a theme the military imagery on the sleeve carries through. Originally released in 2008, it was their third album in a row to enter the Billboard 200 at number 1.
