For Old Sock, originally released in 2013, Eric Clapton mostly picked songs he had been singing along to all his life, from Gershwin's "Our Love Is Here to Stay" and Leadbelly's "Goodnight Irene" to Gary Moore's "Still Got the Blues". Two of his own compositions sit among them, "Gotta Get Over" and "Every Little Thing". Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood, J.J. Cale, Chaka Khan, and Taj Mahal all worked on his nineteenth solo album.
