Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is the second studio album by American rock band My Chemical Romance, originally released on June 8, 2004 through Reprise Records. The album was produced by Howard Benson and recorded by vocalist Gerard Way, guitarists Ray Toro and Frank Iero, bassist Mikey Way and drummer Matt Pelissier. The album follows a loose narrative about revenge and loss, partly inspired by the death of Gerard Way's grandmother. The tracklist includes the singles I'm Not Okay (I Promise), Helena and The Ghost of You. Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge marked the band's breakthrough into the American mainstream. This edition is the 20th-anniversary deluxe edition, a 2-LP on Red & Black Marbled vinyl, with a new mix by Rich Costey and four live BBC recordings from 2005.
