George Harrison wrote Wonderwall Music as the score for Joe Massot's film Wonderwall, and it became the first solo album by a Beatle and the first LP released on the Apple label. The largely instrumental pieces alternate Indian classical music with Western rock and studio experiments: in Bombay Harrison recorded with sarod player Aashish Khan and santoor player Shivkumar Sharma among others, while in London Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr and Peter Tork of The Monkees dropped in. The album originally appeared in 1968 on Apple Records.

This edition is an LP pressed as a zoetrope picture disc with the 2014 remaster, for Record Store Day.
