Cole World: The Sideline Story is the debut studio album by American rapper J. Cole, released in 2011. It was one of the first album releases on Roc Nation, Jay-Z's label, which signed Cole as its first artist in 2009. The album followed a series of mixtapes with which Cole made his name, including Friday Night Lights. Cole produced most of the tracks himself. Singles were Work Out, Can't Get Enough with Trey Songz and Nobody's Perfect with Missy Elliott; Jay-Z himself appears on Mr. Nice Watch. The album entered the American Billboard 200 at number 1.
