The Hermit Sessions Live captured the 2009 live performance of The Hermit Sessions, the debut album by Colin Benders, better known as Kyteman. The album combined hip-hop with jazz and orchestral arrangements and produced the hit single Sorry. It reached the top 5 of the Dutch album chart and sold more than 75,000 copies. On stage, the material was performed by Kyteman's Hiphop Orkest, a large ensemble featuring horns, strings and multiple MCs.
