Pop Music gathers Iggy Pop's years on Arista, the run of New Values (1979), Soldier (1980) and Party (1981). Its twenty tracks show how he moved back towards straight-ahead rock after the Berlin records with David Bowie, with "I'm Bored", "Five Foot One", "Bang Bang" and "Loco Mosquito" among the best known titles. The compilation originally dates from 1996; this pressing came out in July 2024 on Music On Vinyl in a numbered run of 1,500 copies. This edition is a 2-LP on grey marbled vinyl.
