In 1988 Kylie Minogue was still best known as Charlene from Neighbours when Stock Aitken Waterman produced her debut album. Kylie first appeared that year and holds ten short, upbeat synth-pop songs, among them I Should Be So Lucky, Got To Be Certain, Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi and the cover of The Loco-Motion that started her recording career. The album reached number one on the UK albums chart.
