Normaal recorded Nøhlen in 2023 at the band's own studio in Hummelo, with every member involved in the writing and drummer Timo Kelder producing. Alongside founding members Bennie Jolink on vocals and guitar, Ferdi Joly on guitar and Willem Terhorst on bass, the line-up includes keyboard player Roel Spanjer and Belgian horn players Joppe Bestevaer and Peter Delannoye, a good deal wider than the early boerenrock band. The titles show how little directness has been lost, from Poetin Is Een Klootzak to Sanering Wurd Verkering. The album originally came out in 2024 and holds fifteen songs, thirteen of which fit on the LP. This edition is an LP on Gold vinyl.
