Normale verhale originally appeared in 2021 as a book of Bennie Jolink's memoirs together with a CD of fourteen new Normaal songs. Musically the band stays with what it had been doing for more than forty years: guitar rock in the Achterhoeks dialect, with songs about coming home (Thuus), the stage (Plankenkoorts) and the festival that belongs to the region (Mamma, Ik Wil Noar De Zwatte Cross). In between sit quieter, backward looking tracks such as De Leste Keer and Niks Doen Is Dodelijk. This edition is an LP on Green Swirl vinyl.
