'Bohemian Rhapsody' was originally released in 1975 as a Queen single, taken from the album A Night at the Opera. Written by Freddie Mercury, it fuses a ballad, an operatic middle section and a hard-rock passage into a single through-composed piece. The B-side 'I'm in Love with My Car' was written and sung by drummer Roger Taylor. The single spent a long run at number one in the United Kingdom and became one of the band's best-known recordings.
