Wildest Dreams was Tina Turner's ninth solo album and originally appeared in Europe on 1 April 1996. It opens with "GoldenEye", the theme song to the James Bond film of the same name, written by Bono and The Edge of U2. Sting sings on "On Silent Wings" and Antonio Banderas on "In Your Wildest Dreams"; "Confidential" was written and co-produced by the Pet Shop Boys and "Unfinished Sympathy" is a reading of the Massive Attack song. Sheryl Crow co-wrote "All Kinds of People". Trevor Horn and Terry Britten handled most of the production, and the music moves between hard-edged pop, rock and ballads. Six singles followed in Europe, and the album went double platinum in the United Kingdom and across Europe.
