Sons of Satan collects Venom's earliest recordings, made between 1979 and 1983 and for the most part never released before. The five oldest pieces come from a rehearsal at St Matthew's Church in Newcastle, with Clive "Jesus Christ" Archer on vocals, the singer who left before Cronos took that role on as well. Then come the demos Venom cut for fifty pounds at Impulse Studios in Wallsend, and finally an early version of At War with Satan from 1983. The collection originally appeared in 2019, with new sleeve notes and interviews with Cronos, Mantas and Abaddon. This edition is a 2-LP on splatter vinyl.
