marillion.com is Marillion's eleventh studio album and originally appeared in 1999, the seventh with singer Steve Hogarth. The band recorded it at their own Racket Club studio and produced it themselves, with Steven Wilson of Porcupine Tree mixing five of the nine tracks. The title points at the way Marillion used the internet to reach its audience: fans sent in passport photographs, 732 of which made up the sleeve artwork, and two years earlier an online campaign had paid for an American tour. Musically it runs from short, direct songs such as Deserve and Rich to House, built on a slow dub groove, and the fifteen-minute Interior Lulu. This edition is a 5-LP deluxe edition that also carries a concert recording from London.
