Beethoven Was Deaf captures a concert Morrissey played at Le Zénith in Paris in December 1992, on the tour behind Your Arsenal. The sixteen-song set puts older work such as Suedehead and November Spawned a Monster next to the then-new Glamorous Glue, Certain People I Know, and We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful, played by the band with Boz Boorer and Alain Whyte on guitar. The live album originally appeared in 1993 and was remastered at Abbey Road Studios for the 2024 reissue, with new artwork. This edition is an LP on orange vinyl.
