Iron Fist is the fifth studio album by the British rock band Motörhead, originally released in April 1982 on Bronze Records. It was recorded by the classic line-up of singer/bassist Lemmy Kilmister, guitarist ‘Fast’ Eddie Clarke and drummer Phil ‘Philthy Animal’ Taylor, and was the last album by this trio. Recording initially began under producer Vic Maile at Jackson’s Studio in Rickmansworth, but after a falling-out with Maile, Eddie Clarke took on production himself, with Will Reid Dick as engineer. Iron Fist features tracks such as the title track, ‘Heart of Stone’ and ‘Speedfreak’, continuing the raw, fast style Motörhead had become known for. After this album Eddie Clarke left the band, ending the line-up that had made albums like Ace of Spades and Bomber.
